Mike Harley

I'm not going to white knight for Pete, but he doesn't deserve the isht he's getting in these threads. The guy brings a lot of good information and some of you f agalas are looking for any reason to discredit him. Grow up, f agalas.

Pete reports what he hears from inside the program. Sometime what he hears does not materialize. Unless you want him to significantly cut down on what you want him to report, there will be occasions like this happen. Then you all will complain about lack of information and inside scoops.

I think the reason a lot of us are busting Pete's balls (aside from just taking out our general frustration on him) is that he made a definitive statement. He didn't say "I predict Harley will choose us." He didn't say "In my opinion, Harley is coming here." He literally said "Harley coming" in multiple threads. When you make a definitive statement like that at a time when a lot of us are already on edge about the WR recruiting, you have to be prepared to take some crap when you are wrong. It also doesn't help that he was recently calling out Fermin and other sites for spreading "bad information", yet has been completely M.I.A. today after being completely wrong on Harley.

This. He has been all in calling out people in South Florida for being wrong. He could still be 100% right on this one come signing day and he does a great job, but it is a bad look for him being so ****y and now being invisible.

No one wants to hear the BS about the fluidity of recruiting or the fickleness of high school kids. We all know that. Don't be a tool about the way you deliver the message and people won't bust balls as much.

Of course it will happen. This isn't really an indictment on Pete as much as his blind slurpers that freak out on anybody if they question anything he says. He brings great info but has been wrong many many times, yet those same slurpers will have you believe it hasn't even happened once.

Not bashing on Pete for being wrong; this guy has given us some good info in the past. I just want him to show face and share any knowledge he has on the situation. Also, maybe something on Herbert and Slaton as those players also seem to be trending in the wrong direction.

Only noticed this username over the last couple days, but is this a troll account?
Yes. Been trolling CIS for quite some time.

Successful people ask better questions, and as a result, they get better answers.
The question was not if you were right or wrong, but whether you are merely on here to stir crap up and troll other posters, as has been the consistent complaint.

People call posts they don't like trolling the same way the SJW's call what they don't want to hear hate speech.

This dude has been, for the most part, spot on.

Give her some space.
Thanks for the speech, but the complaints have had nothing to do with people "liking what they hear."
As for "being spot on," again, to me it's irrelevant in addressing and asking the simple question I did.
As for the "give her space," your feedback will be considered.
Back to the thread now.

Bunch of idiots mocking one of the only sources of decent info. If I was Pete, I'd just keep things to myself and focus more on helping with Herald reports.

Your solution to being criticized would be to withhold information from posters on YOUR own website?

Smart.

My solution would be to focus on a future in journalism instead of playing recruiting pattycake with people who don't understand recruiting dynamics.
