Mike Harley

As I previously stated before the accusatory rhetoric began. I'm confident Mike Harley will attend WVU.

Ok... So I ask you again why you see him staying with WVU and passing on the U locally?

Currently committed to WVU = Committed to them when he didn't have a Miami offer.
Crystal ball at 83% WVU, 8% Michigan, 8% Miami
His family loves WVU as shown in the video I posted
STA student athletes rarely decommit
I've spoken to some people that may know what they are talking about

Currently committed to WVU = Committed to them when he didn't have a Miami offer.
Crystal ball at 83% WVU, 8% Michigan, 8% Miami = All of those predictions were made in June. The recent one is to Miami. Michael Harley's Crystal Ball Predictions

His family loves WVU as shown in the video I posted = They love WVU and we've seen this song and dance before. Other families like Miami where the kid goes elsewhere.
STA student athletes rarely decommit = Not all recruits are the same. Sam Bruce was committed to us for a while then started having fun with his recruitment where he'd go and re-commit here
I've spoken to some people that may know what they are talking about = Do tell?

Edit: I have my doubts that he ends up here. But if you're going to take that side of the argument, then use better context then the drivel you just threw to the wall.

I feel the exact same way. He may not end up here and he may resent being slow played but when the comment is made in absolute terms by a poster named after Alf's hometown, it comes off troll-ish

If optics don't matter, then why do we need to pull his offer at all? Why not just offer the next best options and then yank Harley's offer when they commit? Also, if we were to pull the offer, what would be a reasonable timeline? Does he have to decide within the week because we wanted to scout him and not offer for his entire senior season? I'm not talking about fair or right/wrong here, I'm talking about getting the decision you want out of a 17 year old kid.
Optics is ghey lingo.

Give him a week. Either he wants to be here, or he doesn't. We don't have time to waste on a mid tier guy who should be jumping out of his shoes to be here.

Good luck with that worthless Wet ****** diploma when you want to return to South Florida. I'd put a shoe in his *** if he showed up at my place looking for a job with that toilet paper diploma. I'd welcome him like a son if he was a UM grad.

More local businesses should start treating disloyal South Florida turds the same way. Treat their families that way too. You want to leave town when the local Canes want you? Good luck. Enjoy living in Tuscaloosa or Baton Rouge or Morgantown for the rest of your life cuz there won't be any work for you or your family when you want to come back here.

No local pride down here though so guys like Dal Cuck can flee town to be the main cog in our main rival's machine and be welcomed back like a conquering hero by all the glad handing maggots down here.

It's sad, but I agree 100% with Chise.

Bama two cycles ago got a LB on NSD from Auburn where Auburn even put him up on the site's official roster. Iirc, people started boycotting the family's business given that the kid essentially betrayed Auburn to go play for Bama.

Ain't nothing sad about local pride and the sense of community. If you rely on a community and locals to sustain you then you should give back to that community and those people.

Don't take your **** and go tap dance for some racist klansmen in Tuscaloosa or Morgantown and then come back here when it's over looking for jobs or some ****.

Great post. Thought of this many times....how some kids turn their back on Miami and then face zero consequences when they come back home to live. I understand there are some legitimate reasons to leave, but when it's just to go play at FSU, UF, Alabama etc....then you should absolutely be black balled when you come back around looking for the community to support you. You turned your back on Miami, make em live with that decision.

I've accepted the apparent fact that some people really live in a bubble segregated from reality.

No need for the holier than thou attitude.Think of it as networking...a lot of people go out there and network, meet people, make connections etc. They then leverage contacts and networks to get jobs etc. Now, take the opposite, like Dalvin Cook, and just picture him instead of networking he's basically telling everyone to go f-themselves. Does that mean he can't get a job, no....but no reason to go out of your way to help. It happens all the time in real life. ****, it happens here with our old players who we clamor for as coaches. You don't see anyone begging for old Seminoles or Gators to get hired by UM? It's reality.

It's called using it as context. Scarlett in his last year was at STA, and decommitted from Miami right before signing day. It's drivel because it really doesn't have anything to do whether this kid comes to Miami or not. Those crystal balls were from June when he didn't have a Miami offer. There are kids that have fun with their recruitment, even if they're from St. Thomas. Not all kids are the same.

The only thing I ask is what information you hold here from an "inside source"? The family could say all they want in public, it's a different thing behind closed doors.

Exactly, who have you spoke to? LOL Pete has said multiple times in podcasts and threads he thinks Harley will be a Cane. Pete is not one to throw out BS Ferman style.

Kid looked unstoppable. Unbelievable top end speed and so smooth with his routes. Cuts were nasty too. I hope UM flips him. Tough to lose this type of player to WVU.
