I really am at a loss in trying to figure out who they could be. Does anyone have any guesses? The only guys I know of that we are recruiting are Slaton, Herbert, Henderson, Edwards, Harley who are from SFL...any others?

It goes without saying that none of those I listed are likely silents...Maybe he counts Dean as SFL since he was originally from here.

Maybe he meant 2018 kids?

That's a possibility. Would be a bit anticlimactic if that is the case.

No. I heard the interview. He was talking about this class and South Florida. If anything, he misspoke about the South Florida part of it.

Thanks, good to know. Well if we can take the SFL part of it out, my guesses would be McFarland and Dean. Certainly they qualify as a couple of solid commits.

Yeah... That's my guess. The words "South Florida" were definitely used, I believe in the question from Curtis Stevenson, but he had to have been referring to us having silent commits period.

Bama's offense doesn't even feature a wide receiver except for blocking. We saw how well Smith did when LaCounte threw him over a bench, it's not his strength. He's going to get hardly any balls thrown his way and have a number of guys ahead of him. Do you think that's a good situation for him?

Bama scheme alone should make every top wr not want to go there. And it all started because of Golden not wanting Amari. If we get Amari, Ridley never goes to bama to be then next AC.. Then Jeudy doesnt choose bama to follow ridley.

And LSUs offense isn't much better for wr recruits. **** at least Harley picked a school that features the type of WR he is heavily.

I was going to start a thread on this.

The Bama QB was limited as to what he can do throwing the ball, but he was Sabans choice in September. Saban saw him as the best guy to implement his game plan. Running the football.

Now Jeudy can sit back and watch AR, Thomas & Co. become one of the most lethal, UTILIZED, WR units in CFB.

Another thread on this subject is exactly what we need

Gotta remember to check with you next time.
Do me a favor, refile this comment in it's appropriate location please.
Thanks.

I don't get it

West Virginia just made an excellent hire for OC in Jake Spavital. I went to college with him (he was our third string QB).

Dude is a passing game genius and did good things at both Texas A & M and Cal.

I would imagine Harley will have to weigh what he has to say about his offense, but this guy turned Chad Hansen into a superstar and has the short passing game with deep concepts behind it that will really play to Harley's strengths.

Flip side is he's a new coach to them this late in the game.

Wide receivers are good to have, but Miami needs SEC type offensive & defensive lineman. We can't win a national title with KC McFalse Start as our LT.

If we land Thomas, Smith, McFarland, Pouncey, & Dean, I'll still feel like we missed big time with the lineman. That's what wins you championships man.

Winning national titles requires the trenches AND the skill players. Clemson doesn't win the other night without Williams, Renfro, and Cain making huge plays at critical moments.

I read on the Mountainqueer site that Harley has been trying to flip James Blackman, the Glades Central F$U QB commit. They are wondering if part of this is bc Blackman may stay put. Could you imagine if the kid actually flips to WVU and Harley bails?

You also need receivers. Yes, lineman are definitely more important on both sides of the ball. However, Clemson doesn't win the title without Mike Williams. You need to be strong at ALL positions.

Tell it like it is. These dudes got too filled up on that John Madden **** about you win in the trenches. That's true but you also gotta have the frisbee catching dogs if you want to win and the QB to throw it to them. You gotta be strong everywhere.

But what if one of the dogs is a Chiwawa?? Lol

A chiwawa? I can just picture this guy sounding out the word, bit by bit. Lmao.

Nobodys begging you ******* clowns.

That's not completely true, but that's what recruiting is. All teams, even bama beg kids to come play for them. You may not think this kid is worth it, but we aren't doing anything out of the ordinary.

Coaches bug kids all the time.

You think WVU coaches didn't catch wind of "Harley to UM" chatter and try to sway his thinking?

They probably sicked other recruits on him to try and hold em

He probably told UM coaches what was going on and how he felt about the situation so they tried to draw attention away from his comm status all the while still keeping in contact whenever they could.

It's not as farfetched as it may sound but most of you were too butt hurt on the situation to say face now..

FSU fand think he's gone

I think it's safe to say Harley's mom is simply aroused by UM football.

i dont care who they hire as OC. Holgerson humiliated himself on national tv. the ESPN announcers were ripping him the whole game. i mean when ESPN is ripping the coach who is going against miami, u know he has issues. guy won 10 games against a weak schedule, subtract this years record and the guy has been horrible. he wont last another 4 years

Mamma is sold

Seriously though, and I'm somewhat of a body language expert, he's a Cane Lock and his momma looks like she's very happy he's staying home. And Harley looks like he's happy momma is happy.

Or she might just be signaling to turn the thermostat up
