Michigan State losing vs Purdue

They’re a pretty good team but like Iowa they were a fraud, kinda like Miami in 2017.
If you watched Msu or Iowa this year you knew they were far from top ten teams. Last week was as lucky as you can get , time just ran out.

Fraud as in not really a serious title contender? Absolutely, they aren't anywhere near ready for that but I don't believe there are 10 teams better than MSU this year. JMO

The new go to by the slurpers is prefacing a comment with “ he needs to go but” then an excuse is coming. I will never defend this bum again , I know what he is and have seen enough. Ive been around football long enough to know trash.
He needs to go but I’d like to talk about the plays in the game… completely unreasonable and slurping.

Somebody in a thread called Michigan State a really really good football team. They are not. But they are solid and hard nosed. The qb is just above average as he showed against the U. Walker is good but they have to rely on him too much. They should have lost to Michigan last week if not for a called back qb fumble in which his shin supposedly hit the ground. I still don't know how the shin hits before a knee and Harbaugh laid an egg with a big lead subbing his backup qb late in the 4th quarter. A Diaz move.

I looked again at the game the U played against them. When you go back and look it was a game of inches dropped interceptions and dropped passes and just a little more defense and of course a real coach and the Canes would have prevailed.

I am anti- MSU since I read they were calling our boys punks. If our boys were coached they wouldn't have been able to talk that crap. I hope they get punked by Purdue and made the tools they are by Ohio State.

They are a good football team. Just not a great football team. I don't think they are a mirage, they are a solid team that has played above their talent level for most of the season. I expect they will lose to OSU. PSU would be a toss up but Franklin has already packed his bags. Finishing the regular season 10-2 meets my definition of a good football team. Parsing between really really good team and good team is like asking a girl in third grade whether she likes you or really really likes you.

Purdue’s coach is working on his third conference title and is the playoff race? If so I agree.

Brohm won two conference titles and just beat the #3, but yes, Purdue isn't in the playoff race. Oregon is in the playoff hunt but chances are they are getting left out of the playoffs (Oklahoma and OSU get the 3 and 4 spot). I don't think Oregon controls its own playoff destiny right now due to the Stanford loss. Maybe OK St pulls the upset against Oklahoma last game of the season, but I don't see it.

Forget about it man. Anything regarding Cristobal and context has no place here. It is just repeating the conference titles stuff despite the fact that his team wouldn't even have been eligible to play in the game last year if Washington's whole team didn't have Covid. No one who actually watches Oregon play week to week would be so all in on him. One of the main beefs for our team is sloppiness and penalties. We're ranked 109th in penalties. Oregon is ranked 118th. Allowing less talented teams to hang around with us? Oregon does it practically every week.

He's just the most recent Miami guy with a pulse and because his flaws aren't under the microscope like they would be here they are being pushed aside.
