Somebody in a thread called Michigan State a really really good football team. They are not. But they are solid and hard nosed. The qb is just above average as he showed against the U. Walker is good but they have to rely on him too much. They should have lost to Michigan last week if not for a called back qb fumble in which his shin supposedly hit the ground. I still don't know how the shin hits before a knee and Harbaugh laid an egg with a big lead subbing his backup qb late in the 4th quarter. A Diaz move.

I looked again at the game the U played against them. When you go back and look it was a game of inches dropped interceptions and dropped passes and just a little more defense and of course a real coach and the Canes would have prevailed.

I am anti- MSU since I read they were calling our boys punks. If our boys were coached they wouldn't have been able to talk that crap. I hope they get punked by Purdue and made the tools they are by Ohio State.

We turned the ball over 4 times and dropped a wide open touchdown. Coaches need to go, but let’s not act like there weren’t some horrible plays giving them the ball and momentum

I agree @Angry Ibis which is why I said if the Canes were actually coached many of those horrible plays would not have occurred
You are getting your wish. trap game for MSU.
Just beat the rival in a great game
All the media coverage because of the ranking
On the road against a good, not great, Purdue team which can not run the ball at all.

You think it’s weird we miss crazy amounts of tackles , drop passes , fumble and blow assignments? It’s almost like badly coached teams do that. When you don’t bench people who continually make mistakes that tends to happen. This isn’t some random act , we do this weekly for three years.

So you were starting TVD against Michigan State?

We fumble 3 times a week?

No I’m talking about people talking turnovers like that’s an excuse for almost losing to a horrible GT team. We’ve been doing this for three years , not sure where you guys have been.
So the turnovers had no role today?

TVD should have played in the Michigan State game. He was in the sideline huddle ready to go in when King came hobbling out of the locker room and the coaches pulled TVD to put a crippled QB back in the game.

This is why I don't need Urban Meyer to walk through that door.

Just bring me a HC that develops players and holds them accountable. We'd walk the Coastal every ******* year - you're seeing this year after two good (and not even great) recruiting classes that we can always attract far more talent than most teams we play. Imagine if they were developed and not allowed to **** around.

Purdue qb has lit them up for over 500 yards. It does make you wonder what TVD might have done. But I disagree with folks who think TVD would have caused the U to win those earlier games. I think folks forget that it seemed to take the qb a minute to get his legs and confidence under him. I recall him looking kind of shaky even in clean up duty. But It doesn't hurt to engage in wishful thinking.

At this rate we'll be glad they made that call.

**** is out there saving Diaz's job. He needs to leave the Admin some ******* doubt!
