They're division 3, the powerhouses in our state are in division 5 & 6 (pretty much identical in terms of level of competition), the drop off is between 5 & 4, but you can occasionally find some good prospects in those lower divisions.

Ok so now that I realized it's the same guy:

Parker says we are definitely his no. 1 school and he is visiting the first week in August. Said he could commit but it feels like a situation where he doesnt have the opportunity to commit right now and Burns/Carter may have something to do with it. We will see.

i say we take all 3. we need safety help bad and we could put bush back over to CB where he fits better.
 
6'4" 200lbs sounds like a great frame to build on. Video showed good hands and height, thats about it. He was Johnny on the spot on the fumble recoveries, and his speed was better than average. I'd love to see this kids reviews after competing at a camp or two amongst his peers. Burns and Carter all day over this cat.
 
This is the competition from my area, and I assure you that this is not DC or SoVa competition. NoVa has weak competition in comparison to that, but if the kid is dominating the weaker competition like he is suppose to and he shows out at some camps then why not offer him?

The kid is already so big its hard to imagine him not being a linebacker down the road. Maybe he ends up a safety and Burns ends up a CB? Who knows but all 3 look like really good athletes. Parker did run like a 4.7+ at one of the camps (Nike maybe?)
 
The kid is a poor man's Ray Ray Armstrong. I would take him as a plan C linebacker after Thomas/Grace/Williams/Deeb, but please please please do not bring him in as a safety

yea he could end up at LB for sure but we have so many LBs that golden has recruited that i dont know if we will need him at LB. wouldnt mind seeeing us have a big safety on the field
 
Can't link you guys but he told a Scout reporter the other day that we are still his leader.

At 6'4 200lbs it's tough to say whether he will be a safety or linebacker but I guess it's a good sign that a kid of this caliber probably isn't able to commit to us right now.

SIAP but I didn't see it mentioned anywhere.

Saw on TOS that we are currently leading for him. Looks to have great measurable's for either S or LB. Anyone know anything really about him? Does he have a committable offer? Can we get an interview with him?
