Now that 2015 QB Dwayne Lawson has decommitted from Miami, going after O'Conner makes all the sense in the world. He provides a very good stop gap on the depth Chart for the 2016 & 2017 season. An with the Ryan Williams supposedly now applying for a 6th year medical hardship waiver, if granted he could provide a good security blanket if Kaaya gets hurt next season.
The only thing is staff has to wait for Micheal O'Conner to call them as a transfer student an during the dead period they can't bring him in for an official visit to Miami. I am not sure if he has followed Miami at all to know that UM would be a good option for him. He may reach out to Chris Wienke at IMG Academy as his former coach to help him decide on a good landing spot, an would Weinke steer him toward UM at this point?
Go Canes
He has to sit out a year correct? so it makes no sense...we have 2 Scholarship guys next year...More mismanagement of scholarships

**** you are clueless. Let's say Kayaa gets hurt and rosier plays. He goes down for even a play, who the **** is your scholarship quarterback? Answer right now is no one, this guy couldn't as he has to sit out.How do you figure? If Kaaya is as good as advertised, he's gone after his Jr. year, then you can have O'Conner or Rosier step in for a couple of years and then hand in off to Allison or whomever... Just like The U of old, with Kelly 79-82, Kosar 83-84, Testaverde 82-86, Walsh 86-88, Toretta 89-92..... So from 1979 - 1992 we had a succession of QB's,
Was that mismanagement of Scholarships???
