I’ve seen Deeb play four times. He’s always the leader in tackles on defense, is a fierce and focused competitor, and his intensity is unmatched. I can also tell you he’s a tremendously hard worker, is a leader on and off the field, a very good football player, and even better young man.
I asked him if he felt a UM offer was imminent. Deeb’s response: “Not too sure. I had a lot of fun competing with my friend Skai Moore (University School) and we were lucky enough to share LB MVP together. Coach D’Onofrio said that the staff would sit down and review the notes from the camps and make a decision. It can either way. Coach D did say he liked what he saw and will let me know by next week whether or not they’ll offer, that camp was the final step in evaluation.”
