Miami's top DB target will be on campus today

They wanted out of the state. Most recruits don't have the same "love" for the U as fans do. It must be said that they went to the schools they felt would benefit them most.

You know that doesn't matter unfortunately. Look at Bama. They didn't through a ball over 10 yards to anyone not name Ridley until the very last play of the year.

Eddie O. has made LSU a ***** show and a dead man walking. Too much for Corey Raymond to overcome despite the 4-year investment in Surtain. Got to believe Surtain on campus was out of respect for Rumph and his relationship with his father. I've got to believe his father didn't want to burn bridges as well.

I disagree. Watkins, when healthy, is a top receiver. Bryant plays in a #2 role in Pittsburgh where Antonio Brown gets the majority of targets. And again, Clemson can sell that.

All 4 were on active rosters at end of the season. Even Waters is on an active roster (Packers) as a cornerback.

Watkins looks like a shell of himself. He was mostly healthy last year and looked very average. Only 39 catches in one of the most explosive offenses in the league and he played in every game.

When you say top receiver, what does that mean? Because when Watkins is healthy, he isn't even a top 15 WR in the league IMO. Bryant is no longer the #2 in Pitt......JuJu has clearly taken that role. Bryant's Sunday projections for receiving yards were usually around 40 yards or lower. He didn't have one 100 yard receiving game the entire 2017 season.

Agreed,. Watkins was 3rd or 4th option in LA last year. Got outplayed by Robert Woods and some dude named Cooper Kupp. Gurley also had more yards and targets than he did. Thats not a top receiver.

Yes, it happens with guys we land. One guy said as much in one of those long threads and you guys hammered him for it.

Juju easily overtook Bryant as the number 2 in Pittsburgh.

Don't know how you have enough data with Watkins to determine he's a top receiver when healthy, considering he's NEVER healthy.

They still changed his mind convincing him that LSU was a **** show, how many times have kids went to places that were shytholes? alot...................I mean how many kids came here with SHannon or Golden, or Mctooth or whicever other school. Kids do go to shytholes alot of times, kids r still choosing to go to UF for gods sake
