Miami vs Wake 2pm Bally sports tv

Not really. What made the ACC Championship team so unique was that they could score at all levels and had a ton of depth in the frontcourt. Think about this, if Tonye Jekiri was a freshman on this team, he would be getting a ton of minutes because Miami has no size outside of Omier. On that team, he was a spot player that could come in and be a hustle guy that used his size. People forget how good guards Larkin, Scott and TMJ were. Never mind the fact that you had explosive athletes like Rion Brown coming off the bench.

AJCasey is better than Jekiri and he hardly gets minutes. Beverly is better than Rion Brown. Is all subjective but just saying.

Yet when I started this thread and referred to a girl named Madelyn who knows her stuff said she doubts anyone can stay with Miami.
Ok and I’m telling you that there are teams better than Miami now. I’ve followed Ucla for years and they play very good defense.

I love that as this season has gone on we are beating teams who are giving us their best shot and winning all different ways. Fast, grind out, high scoring, 60’s, etc. different guys each game going off and different role players stepping up each games.

1 game at a time…let’s stop thinking if we win this then this happens. For now we a tourney lock. Each win moving forward we can then start to figure out seeding.

My biggest concerns if we get that far are Purdue’s size and UCLA’s defense. I ithink Bama and Houston are very good but their style works for us, similar to what Auburn did last year.

UCLA doesn’t turn the ball over much either. I think they’ll be playing for a national championship. The 4 teams that you named are currently better than Miami but the better matchups are Bama and Houston.

As tough of a matchup as Edey would be for our size, likewise he’d have a tough time matching up with our “bigs.”

Another veteran team as well with a good coach.

Purdue will not make the sweet 16, in my humble opinion. I do not think they are that good compared to the other top teams

No disrespect but the 2012 team would wipe the floor with this team.
This team is totally different, it is faster, plays better defense, and creates turnovers. It is disrespectful to say that they would wipe the floor, I think the games would be very close. This team has already proven itself against bigger teams.

I’m not saying we would beat those top 8 teams repeatedly but I don’t think people realize how much of a nightmare match up we are.

I think our only knock would be a team with size 1-5 that can run and is athletic.

L is an X factor too. He’s as good as there is in exploiting a weakness and maximizing our strengths.
