****Miami vs. Virginia Tech GAME THREAD****

Have not beaten a power 4 team since last February-

The play drawn up by Courtney was porous at best -

The game was lost on the inbounds pass -

I forgot who received the ball but, he held it too long over his head no sense of urgency-

Cleveland ended up with the pass no chance for a decent shot -

4-10-

We’re headed to 20 losses-

******* disgusting-

Bethea, should have given it up earlier -Forced that possession.

Half decent performance (mostly) and we still manage to lose. Doesn't inspire much confidence.

Basically we need to play outstanding basketball to have a shot at a W

Solid effort today.
The offense put up a good performance.
Defense was improved.
This type of effort will eventually win a few games during the season and probably get Bill Courtney some consideration for the HC job.
Maybe even an interview.
this can't be serious. all of it but especially that defense was improved

We look like a 5 year old choosing random toys from the chest to play with. I do feel Bill is more likely to figure out what is and isn't working. L looked like he couldn't .

We just lack a guard (insert Wong etc here) that can beat someone off the dribble. Maybe it's Jalil. But he's not seen the court enough to establish that identity.

Yes, 99 is taking it to the hoop but that's likely to be taken care of sooner than later

Bill is a quality guy and an outstanding recruiter. But I don't think he'd be looked at unless he makes a deep tourney run.

I've aways thought Kimble was a bit of a weak link. DJ is basically there to recruit with his Team Final connection

Bethea was determined to take that critical shot - no matter what - with us up by a basket, 86-84. VT defended him well.

Swartz and Bethea had good offensive games. Divine with 7 and 7 assists.

Looks like Courtney prefers Bethea and Divine over Blackwell and Staton-McCray.

Maybe I'm wrong but Jalen and Nijel are similar players. Neither of them is especially adept at beating guys off the bounce.

That guy is basically Jalil. May as well roll with him

16 straight P4 losses. Just unfathomable.

This is going to be a complete rebuild. We could very well have nobody on scholarship during the transition barring a major splash hire (which is unlikely)

It’s identical to Louisville in my opinion. I got **** on for saying that last year but it’s even more obvious this year.

Maybe nil keeps us afloat though
