No cfb team, even the good ones, goes through a schedule playing grade A football all game every game. Not even the GOAT 2001.

And most teams have a few stinkers to
various degrees.

Just have to get through it. And the good ones usually (but not always) do.

Let’s (1) get the W and (2) hope this is an outlier, which it certainly could be.
