Guys, I'm trying to stay positive as I possibly can. But looking at the product that we are putting on the field, we will be EXTREMELY LUCKY to put 7 wins on the board!!! This crap is horrible! With our play calling on "O", our execution, the insistance on running that 2gap nonsense on "D", and with our special teams looking...well....."special", we will be **** lucky to win 7. This staff has to get this **** together, or they will be looking for jobs, soon. Honestly, I have HUGE doubts about whether they can turn this thing around.

Heaps is going to look good against their reserves and we're going to collectively lose our ****

This. Don't understand taking out Kaaya. Kid is not at the point where he doesn't need the experience and putting in Heaps against scrubs doesn't show you anything that can use to accurately compare the two. Doesn't make sense to me.

So famu has taken out their starters. ???

No, but they're scrubs and this is garbage time. If Heaps hits them for a couple TDs would you bench Kaaya moving forward? No because this is garbage time.

Golden went with Kaaya, he clearly needs experience, and he had a chance to get more, but Golden takes him out to give Heaps garbage time.

We look pretty bad overall though given the opponent.

The way kaaya has looked in 2 games. Good chance I bench him to see how heaps plays under the lights as a hurricane

Disagree 100%. Golden threw Kaaya into the fire with a **** gameplan and Kaaya did well. The UL game was completely winnable in the fourth until a boneheaded play by the OL after Kaaya made a great throw to Duke.

Kaaya is clearly not a superstar right now, but he played fine against UL and he played fine tonight as well.

The way I see it, when Golden chose Kaaya over Heaps for UL, Golden sealed Heaps' fate. Golden needs to stick with his guy and get him the minutes he needs so Kaaya feels comfortable out there and Coley feels comfortable opening up the play book.

Playing Heaps now is just a waste of time cause Kaaya is the guy moving forward this year (unless RW comes back) and next year.

But let's not derail the game day thread...

if the OL can run block, we can move the ball
Duke and Yearby are real

the QB play is pathetic
seriously
I yearn for Brock Berlin

A guy in college gets in a fight and gets suspended for multiple games. For a fight? Really?
