I really dislike the stretch run play. Completely erases dukes strengths as a runner.

I agree, off tackle and trap plays.... quick hitter, slasher type plays.. Open a crease and let him accelerate through it....

Exactly. Duke having to wait for the ball allows the backside DE to make a play. Dukes 1 quality is acceleration.
