Miami vs Duke: I’m ready for Cam to throw 10 times on Saturday

Interior runs and TE leaks should dominate. Seriously though we should have 35+ rushes and have Cam under center a bit even for some PA though we never do that.

Then you haven't watched much of both of them.

Luke is dreadful. Maybe he's going to be good in a year or two, but he's nowhere near as good as Murphy right now. Not even close. Murphy has thrown for over 200 yards in every single game except the one that this board probably watched, the FSU game. FSU couldn't throw for 200 yards against air. Star Thomas is better than any back FSU has.

I'm not saying the Duke offense is good. It's terrible. But FSU has arguably the very worst offense of any Power 4 school. I truly believe that. In year 5, at Florida State, with a coach making $10M a year, who is an offensive coach and calls the plays, FSU has the absolute stone worst offense of any power 4 team in the country.

Duke sucks. FSU is biblically bad.

I have watched plenty of both of them (although not much out there from Luke)

...but there is not much to argue with that point. FSU is very bad.

I’d like to see a few of those middle wide receiver screens. They ran one against FSU but never went back. Very effective against an aggressive pass rush/man coverage.
Ditto.

I would like to see that middle screen to Lofton we just missed against VT. Elijah would have walked into the endzone.

I agree the rushing yards will be there, but the #He1sman race dictates Cam has to put up big numbers, so I expect that to happen.
Hopefully not at the expense of him making dumb decisions. Last week I thought he did a great job taking what was there. He was fine throwing it away (a few times held it too long for a sack) but not trying to force anything...need the same from him this week. Duke creates a lot of turnovers. I feel like that's the only thing that could make this game interesting. While the heisman would be awesome, the win is more important
