This is not a meaningless game. We are playing lights out at home and have 4 games left in the Gables. That leaves three games on the road, which we have a 3 game lead over Duke. Winning the ACC is in our sights, lose this game and it give Duke new life.
Well, I hate to tell you, but you're wrong. It really is meaningless. There is no ACC regular season title; it was abolished a long time ago. Winning the ACC Tournament is the only sort of "champion" that the league recognizes, so we only need to lock up a 1 or 2 seed to get a day of rest, which is pretty much a lock at this point.
I mean, sure, for momentum and national polls and such, it matters. But in the grand scheme? It's about as irrelevant of a game as you can possibly have in mid-February.
