Miami vs Arkansas-Elimination game

Bats do not look good so far. 6 up 6 down for our "vaunted" lineup against a freshman who is a giant stiff and throws meatballs. Hopefully they can get it going but very poor at-bats so far.

Can't tell you how many years in a row our bats have seemingly disappeared in the postseason.

We never had great attendance when we were winning all the time. 13 sell outs in 58 game streak and that was only because it was FSU, ND , OK ,NEBRASKA ,UF etc. There are schools around the country who have never won a championship in any sport but their fans appreciate the fact they are kids trying their best. Sure the coaching situation hasn't been great but we haven't had coaches beating the doors down when we've had openings. Things are cyclical and I for one having not missed a home game in the 70's when we won FORTY ONE GAMES can appreciate that there will be ups and downs with our downs being much better than they used to be.
 
So you know what would be awesome. We beat Arkansas. UVA beats Florida. Then we could eliminate Florida.

I'd like those odds better than beating UF twice in a row.

Good news is Woodrey looking good. But bad news is that it seems as if when our bats dont get goin early in game they usually struggle all game. Just find a way to win.

Just imagine the hate and numerous page threads if that was Morris with the pitching change only to have reliever give a the HR.
 
Heyward has such quick hands and an upper-cut swing. You throw a fastball on the inside part of the plate Heyward is going to crank one, and he did.

It would have been justified. That was a stupid move. The guy had given up 2 hits through 4.

Once again errors in the postseason bite us in the ***. The guy stealing second should have been thrown out easily.

Thompson really struggles at 3rd. I don't think he has a position at the next level and him being drafted by a NL team can really slow down his promotions through the minors. He could more than use another year in college.
