Miami v Wake Forest bet

I think the best bet, and the one that doesn't depend on our offense either way, is Wake Forest O 20.5.

Probably delusional but I think Miami covers it.

7-3 ATS this year and coming off a bye (not always a good thing for Miami in the past) supposedly thinking we addressed the communication problems on defense...

Maybe I'm buying it too much
I actually do think Miami covers too. Sharps agree.

48-21 feels right. Total has been steaming up too.

We could win by 40 or lose the game...we could score 50 or be held to 24. I wouldn't bet the Miami game at all, just relax and enjoy the game

Offense looked so bad against GT that I don’t know it was an aberration or if they figured something out that Wake and Syracuse will copy. Even If I could bet this game, I wouldn’t.

DC strategy doesn’t even have to be anything fancy- could just be knowing that Ward tends not to take checkdowns or look for TEs, so a defense just needs to focus on taking away downfield receivers. Ward will hold the ball and wait for them to get open. By that time even a mediocre pass rush will be pressuring him.

Could Ward make
them pay big time for doing this? Absolutely- it would be super easy, barely an inconvenience. Just take a checkdown and he keeps moving the chain. It sounds simple but for whatever reason he just couldn’t bring himself to do it last week. He wanted to have Heisman moments instead of a game manager. Now he’s fallen to third or fourth in the Heisman race. He (and everyone) knows he needs back to back spectacular 5 or 6 TD games to get back into the top 2. What happens if the defense forces him to be a game manager ? Is he willing to do that and have a “boring” game? I am concerned.

Comfortable saying GT didn't figure anything out. We still averaged 7 yards per play against them (only the top 5 offenses in the country average 7 yards per play)

We went 3/10 on 3rd down and 1/4 on 4th down after averaging 60% on 3rd and 90% on 4th down going into the game.

Cam missed check downs, open guys, etc. all day. I feel pretty confident that won't be the trend going forward.

Cant lie..WF Team over 20.5 sounds **** enticing if that is indeed legit. LOL. Even if we jump on them I can see us taking the foot of the gas for a few late 4th quarter bum TDs. WF must be really really bad for that to be the line.

That said, I think we blow them out early but we let up at the end. We got one more game to play that will be for all the marbles. No need in getting anyone hurt. I would be afraid of a backdoor cover. Safest bet has to be UM team over 44.5 since Mario definitely wants Cam back in the Heisman conversation. So you gotta think he throws 5 TDs in his finale. Couple that with a few rushing TDs and I think that is doable. But all of these lines sound unusually high. Had no idea WF was THIS bad. Lol. ****.

Why do you think he missed so many check downs and open receivers?
