Miami targeting Houston's Zac Etheridge for DB coach

There were scores of people on here who disliked the Gattis hire. Broyles or not, people simply disliked most things about that selection.

Yeap, and amidst considerable excitement when Golden was hired, there was a collective groan when he hired Art Kehoe to coach OL. The alums who allegedly push Kehoe to Golden should have been subjected to a crude form of castration.

(Yes, there was considerable excitement when AG was hired. People who denied they were happy are the same who deny they had Barry Manilow 8 tracks and Madonna cassettes back in the day).

Lol…Why is that important? And why would you doubt me when I tell you I'm not advocating him? Like I was and then just lied and said I'm not…My god weird *** crowd here.

I honestly could care less about DVD…We made a good DB coach hire with Etheridge and working under Etheridge it occurred to me DVD name used to get mentioned a lot by local recruits and maybe he's more seasoned now. Maybe you made a good find with Joseph, maybe someone to keep an eye on.
You scare me. This interaction between you and @Memnon was really weird.

Someone remind me. He’s out Recruiting. Why does Official announcement take so long? Heck, even the one saying subject to passing background check or whatever usually says.

I try to give new coaches the benefit of the doubt. No point in hating someone who just got hired because they’re going to at least get one year to work, good or bad. Plus coaches always say what fans want to hear in the press conferences. It took one game for me to give up on Dan Enos. Gattis lost me around game three. I don’t know why I thought these notoriously terrible pro style guys were going to come here and do something different. Maybe Gattis was still new enough that I thought he was still improving his playbook but he might have been worse than Enos tbh. It was the same story with both guys, without an offensive line that could just dominate opponents, they had nothing.

Hmm, I don’t know about that bro. I don’t know anyone that was excited about the Golden hire, and it seemed like an extremely bad fit from day one. Manny was also a rushed hire who cared more about chains and false bravado than knowing how to actually build a program from the ground up. The Richt hire had me feeling optimistic we could at least, bare minimum, return to being a 10 wins a season type of program. The problem with Richt is we just got him too late in his career. If we would have hired Richt, say, after Coker instead of Randy I think he could have done some really good things here. People can say what they want about Mario, but when you look at his approach he clearly knows how to build a program the right way…the sustainable way. His on-the-fly coaching decisions leave much to be desired, but I do feel like he’s made progress in that area.
