Miami Slotted Eighth in College Football Playoff Rankings

The Miami Hurricanes moved up one spot to No. 8 in the third College Football Playoff Rankings released Tuesday evening.

Miami (9-1) was seeded third as a projected conference champion.

The Hurricanes were ranked 10th in the US LBM Coaches Poll and 11th in the Associated Press Top 25 on Sunday.

Miami concludes its home slate against Wake Forest at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff is set for noon on ESPN.

If we lose / don’t make the acc champ game the season will be viewed as a failure

I think they also consider what the teams you beat do. So Georgia beating Tennessee probably gave bama a boost.

Same way UF beating LSU prolly gave us a tiny boost, and Louisville losing probably took some points away.

They went to Baton Rouge recently and skull ****ed an LSU team that would still be moving the chains on us. Enough with this ostrich in the sand CIS.
