Miami recruiting look from a Younger guy who is friends with

What program doesn't pay players?

Also outside of a handful of schools located in vacation hot spots. The majority of programs are located in uninteresting locations.

I'd be willing to bet zero of the PAC-12 programs pay players. Schools like NW, Vandy, Wake, Duke, etc also definitely don't.

Paying players is a Big-12/SEC thing, along with a handful of Big-10 and ACC school

LOL .......u serious? Reggie bush forfeiting the Housman with USC ring a bell?

haha woops, you're right. Yeah forgot about USC, but that seems like it in the PAC-12 (I think Colorado used to, but judging by their recruiting, not anymore).

Outside of the SEC/BIG-12, it's pretty safe to assume USC, Ohio St., Michigan, Clemson, and FSU pay recruits/players.

LMAO, programs that are trying to compete at the highest level are paying. Guys may not be getting cars like other big recruits but they get paid.

Also you trying to tell me UNC and Duke don't pay to stay on top of the Basketball scene?

Whats this program on probation for anyways? Yet you fail to have us listed with Clemson and FSU from this conference.

It's convenient when recruits go elsewhere to say the bagman came through but the fact of the matter is. We have been irrelevant for far too long with **** coach after **** coach leading the way.

What sucks is if they were recruits today, guys like Willis McGahee, Andre Johnson, Hester, Gore, Sean Taylor, Edge, Rolle would probably all be going to Bama. Mario the bagman would lock them down.

So theres no point the miamis dead?

I believe we have to cheat to win period *** the ramifications........ If im one of those kids and had to sit three years or start at miami.....im taking the money to feed the family its about business to these kids and if u come from nothing u would too.

The ramifications are no more football program. And with us, unlike some schools like Bama who get a hall pass, justice will be sure and swift in execution.

Much easier to deceive the sheeple than convince the sheeple they've been deceivedd

Nothing is gonna change as long as Mark Emmert is running the show. He, the $EC, and ESPN are all reaping the benefits.

IMO, Richt and the University are trying a different path with a different message which will not appeal to some and others will take the cash. In my view this is an up-bringing and simply being broke. I think Miami is going about the only way the can, next time will be the death penalty. It feels a lot better now for the cash, over the long run for your kid as a parent, what's best?

I would be most interested in Shaq Daddy's his point of view on this.

Ok I see a lot of people on here talking about how Miami is recruiting and it's made me a little mad. Golden was a cancer lets just say this to be honest. I graduated in 2011 that year Phillip, Rashad Greene, Shazier and Jeremy cash came out amongst others.

I'm friends with Shazier in lets put this in the nicest way possible Florida and Ohio State type schools have a huge advantage. When Ryan came back from a trip to Ohio State he knew Urban would be there " remember Urban had not been announced yet". Urban was still recruiting while sitting on an analyst desk. I know for a fact

Let that sink in... These coaches will do whatever it takes to get their guy. Calvin Ridley is from a hood called Franklin park across from me and like we all say that "bag man is so real". Believe me when I say it! No one from knowing his parents should he ever be behind anything newer than a 2005 automobile.

Somebody posted about Eddie Jackson and I will say this. It's a shame Miami did not recruit him but he had school issues but we have all known he was really good since Little league . He tore Saint Thomas up his senior year by himself. If golden in company were in touch with the locals they would have known.

We could go on and on about recruits down here but I will tell you one thing until that bag opens up we are going to keep getting beat on some recruits. Winning will solve a lot but let's take Arron Robinson last year "how did Alabama just swoop in and take him?" They have like 6 five star corners in their team at all times how does Arron think He will get on the field when Miami is basically begging him to come because of corner depth.

You ever been to Tuscaloosa ? I have there's nothing there. But if you are a recruit or player it's Disney ****ing land. We need to make Miami Disney land again if we want to win. A black boy in Alabama gets off gun and drug charges with the case thrown out ?? Yea Disney land like I said. You better believe Calvin was telling Jerry about how fun Disney land could be

Let them go.

There's 150 D1 kids every year in our back yard, and we don't need the kids looking for a handout and opportunity to wild-the-f**k-out with impunity. We good over here. If we get the local kids that want to be here, and some of the best from Cali, Ga., Md to come, we'll be better than the other way around. Our entire class is almost state of Miami savages. Let that sink in. Add a few studs from out of town like DJ, who just wants to be down, and we'll ALWAYS be better than those podunk, tea sipping hillbillies, who gotta bring suitcases for some face time.

I like where we are with Richt. He's a better X&Os coach than Urban and Saban combined. Count how many Heisman candidates/winners they coached and see if they add up to Richt's. We'll be just fine without that trashy pimp-game. Ask S. Bruce, A. Richards, L. Cager, Shaq and all the kids we beat Bama for, even with Golden and the house on fire.

You sound frightened cuz...

We're Hurricanes, and we don't see anybody else. It's all about []_[]s.

True! We just have to win. With so many D-1 players available, we won't get all we want. Some not Cane fans, some want to leave and some $$ influenced. A kid I know played at Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, hung with a friend of his that played at bama and he was emphatic about, "how they get away with it", without being investigated and probation.

I don't know man. Couple of those guys committed when we weren't exactly titans of the NCAA, and the difference back then was the brand of The U was still so powerful. Those dudes probably went on their visits through SEC country and got the thousand dollar handshakes and bag knowing full well they were still going to The U.

I've heard the story countless times and I'm not sure if it's true, but Patrick Peterson, even after being paid off, still wanted to come to Miami and begged Randy to take him back the day before signing day (Randy, being Randy allegedly told him "no"). There was genuine love back then bc we may not have been great, but our dominance wasn't something you had to look at a documentary to remember.

Our issue truly has been late Coker, Shannon, and Golden. They set this program back at least a decade bc besides losing actual games, they lost the battle for the hearts and minds of South Florida Youth. They devalued the brand, and damaged the bond with the community. Shalala never understood that The U was bigger than football. When we win, the effects of the bagman can easily be nullified. We will always lose elite players, as we always have, but we still get enough of our share to compete and win.

The "U" has a small problem with paying players...Our former banker Mr. N. Sharpiro has cut our credit line for approximately the next 12 years...

I think some would stay, but the freaks (Sean Taylor and Devin Hester) gone to Bama. Andre Johnson would be Mario's next blue chip WR recruit he brings to his sugar daddy Saban.
