Ok I see a lot of people on here talking about how Miami is recruiting and it's made me a little mad. Golden was a cancer lets just say this to be honest. I graduated in 2011 that year Phillip, Rashad Greene, Shazier and Jeremy cash came out amongst others.

I'm friends with Shazier in lets put this in the nicest way possible Florida and Ohio State type schools have a huge advantage. When Ryan came back from a trip to Ohio State he knew Urban would be there " remember Urban had not been announced yet". Urban was still recruiting while sitting on an analyst desk. I know for a fact

Let that sink in... These coaches will do whatever it takes to get their guy. Calvin Ridley is from a hood called Franklin park across from me and like we all say that "bag man is so real". Believe me when I say it! No one from knowing his parents should he ever be behind anything newer than a 2005 automobile.

Somebody posted about Eddie Jackson and I will say this. It's a shame Miami did not recruit him but he had school issues but we have all known he was really good since Little league . He tore Saint Thomas up his senior year by himself. If golden in company were in touch with the locals they would have known.

We could go on and on about recruits down here but I will tell you one thing until that bag opens up we are going to keep getting beat on some recruits. Winning will solve a lot but let's take Arron Robinson last year "how did Alabama just swoop in and take him?" They have like 6 five star corners in their team at all times how does Arron think He will get on the field when Miami is basically begging him to come because of corner depth.

You ever been to Tuscaloosa ? I have there's nothing there. But if you are a recruit or player it's Disney ******* land. We need to make Miami Disney land again if we want to win. A black boy in Alabama gets off gun and drug charges with the case thrown out ?? Yea Disney land like I said. You better believe Calvin was telling Jerry about how fun Disney land could be

Great post, OP! Unfortunately, some of the posters on this board are still in denial of the truth. No amount of "love", "family atmosphere", or "recruiting" will work with some of these higher ranked kids. The "bag man" comes knocking and it's usually a wrap. The NCAA knows all about 'Bama and their dirty ways, they're just acting like the 3 blind mice.

So everything I've already learned from message board posters now backed up by another message board poster?

Awesome.

In all seriousness, 100% true I have no doubts.

Thanks OP... I think your insight is interesting, especially with regards to Shazier, Aron Robinson and of course Ridley and the car.

As much as some of us joke that Coach Hartley physically looks like our idea of a bag man, I don't see us doing that type of thing. Are you hearing that we are making better inroads now with recruiting? Is the way we will compete going forward as simple as winning or do you think we will always lose the Jeudys and Ridleys to Bama in today's world?

Plus we have fewer big money boosters focused on football. We're simply looking at entirely different cultures when comparing Miami to OSU or Alabama.

I wish some of our site reporters or people in general would start posting pictures of the cars those poor alabama black boys from impoverished parent and families drive. They so outfront with their **** it ain't even funny. It would make an excellent 60 Minutes expose'. My frat brother son was tight with a former bama player and told and took him to get free **** too. All around Tuscaloosa. FACT! Not just bad mouthing bama because they come down here and take our *****, but because this ****ss is true. Don't ask me how they get away with it but they got a system.

I just don't understand how we get in trouble for giving recruits a car ride, and Alabama can actually give them the car and not get in trouble.

Nick Saban has own line of Mercedes Custom Trucks (let that sink in for moment) sold at Mercedes Dealers throughout the south, so for people to think he doesn't have an army of $EC bag men at his disposal is being the poster child for naivete.

It's not that they are ignoring it, there is no paper trail....no evidence of payment....can't prosecute without hard evidence

It goes beyond paying players. As OP said, its about making them Gods and above the law.

If you go to Bama (and you turn out not to be a JAG), Saban makes sure you can get away with anything. Guns, drugs, even rape (see Baylor), etc, the players own the cops and that's definitely a selling point.

Richt wasn't that way at GA and Miami will never be that way. And we will always lose kids for that reason. Luckily, if we win on the field, there's enough talent we can get to win a championship anyways

Yessir. You're bulletproof at Auburn and Bama as long as you're there. But once you leave... on to the next one. Unpaid slave labor basically. I remember Real Sports did a story about a Bama WR who balled out for them before tearing his knee. Now? It's like he never existed. He went from the penthouse to the basement, and the same is true for all their NFL busts right now.

This is what separates The U from other programs. I had a Gator pal proudly tell me that they could care less about what their players do in the NFL. You're family here long after your playing days are done, but players ain't trying to hear that. It's hard to sell family and loyalty to an 18 year old, especially when poosy, cash, cars, and Greek deity like status is being flashed.

All we can do is win and get the players that want to be here. Both goals can be attained.

Do yall realize compliance & lots of other related to discipline observe all sites as part of intelligence gathering? Simple enough all schools know the bag man well. The ncaa simply tolerates some places due to their agendas more than others. The facts is some places are simply targets for the ncaa while others are issued a golden ticket.
