Miami prepares to file a suit against NCAA-Time served enuff

Good move by Shalala. Totally agree with this strategy. Just a threat of a lawsuit will have these guys asking for Mercy and a Settlement of "Time Served" should be the logical conclusion. The link was also slow for me as well. Good read.

Great move. Looks like The U is finally gonna put this behind us with honestly minimal damage. Plus this is going to **** OFF every cane hater in the country!! It is going to be awesome! 2013 is gonna be a big year for the Canes!

UM is not bluffing at all. UM is holding a full boat at the moment. The NCAA is about to find itself in a world of hurt if they try anything stupid.

The NCAA used illegal tactics because all they had on Miami was minor violations. Miami cooperated and the NCAA still had a vendetta against the program and used any means possible to try and drop the hammer on them. Now, all of the major violations will be tossed out and the NCAA will be left standing their with their d!ck in their hands.

This is no bluff...

I think bluff is the wrong term. I think make the NCAA throw in their cards and fold wouldve been more appropriate
 
Funny how Beast rails on everyone who isn't in the media for trying to break a story based on sources then he links to, or creates, this story. Not that the plan of action is any big surprise, of course UM is considering a suit, and hoping like **** they don't actually have to do it. Ball is in the NCAA's court at the moment, let's see if they trip over their own johnson's again.

Threat of action is a better term. Point is UM has zero interest in suing the NCAA, but the threat may move things along.
