Miami out for Michael Johnson JR?

a team with not one proven QB yet, but we don't need to take one this year.

richt jr had his heart set on a qb thats now a freaking rutgers, and got lucky jarren williams hadn't committed anywhere yet. while also picking the perfect weekend to visit, but he's doing a fantastic job recruiting

Williams was getting recruited by elite programs already including bama, Auburn and osu before the Miami contact late . He absolutely won that recruitment, **** Williams even went on an official with Ohio state and still chose Miami shortly after

Some of y’all acting like Richt jr is the ******* assistant head coach or d coordinator.. I almost guarantee you Richt SR is not delegating all power with coaching and recruiting to his son ... Christ you can see in those footballville videos Richt sr spends most his time at practice with the qbs
 
lil jon had ONE JOB...ONE. and that was to get MJJ. PSU and FSU BOTH already have QBs committed. that means at best MJJ is QB2 for them. lil jon had to only focus on ONE QB, the others had multiple. and he still LOST? if you don't think thats a big deal, you're stupid. how are we supposed to EVER win the recruitment battles for the BEST QBs if we can't even win this one?
 
Wait, you mean the position we only recruited one person at, which also happens to be the most important position on the field, has left us with our ****s in our hands?

Mid week visit strikes again. Staff was told the FSU visit was courtesy visit but all we managed was 2 day visit mid week. Sounds like our visit was more of courtesy since baby Richt has been flying out to Oregon for last year to see this kid. This kid won't make or break the class but the Richts put up so much time and energy on this kid whose not even elite and it looks like they are about to whiff.

I agree with most of what you said but Jarren was committed to Kentucky. I think we got lucky he visited for Notre dame and that karren had good relationships with most of our class from the opening

He just won a big battle for williams last year. All this crying shît is ridiculous.

He was basically committed to Miami as of a day ago according to every Miami mod on every board. If we don’t land him it would be an absolute embarrassment. No team has come close to our coaches using as much time recruiting him and he is our one and only target. Usually the team that wants the kid the most and has a better situation wins out so I am holding out hope still

That's why you recruit the kid who gave you the indication he wanted to be here from the jump. Now it's going to be hard to get him from clem**** university.

mid-week visit vs weekend visit is irrelevant during the summer. Unless you can explain how it somehow makes a difference

Staff has been all in on MJJR for at least 8-10 months. It's clear they're willing to strike out and take two QBs in 2020 if necessary. 2020 is MUCH better QB class and it spaces our seniority out better. I'm sure if they miss on MJJR they'll kick the tires elsewhere for due diligence but there is no reason to be desperate.

Bro there are other qbs step away from the ledge and nothing is really set in stone yet lol
