Which team has fallen off the farthest and who will get back to national prominence first? The Longhorns have ZERO, ZIP, ZILCH, NADA players drafted so far in the draft.

I only care about Miami. So, for me The []_[]. Miami has a set higher standard in the NFL and it's draft in my opinion.

Texas has fallen further than Miami and will be back faster. Let that sink in

How have they fallen further? They were in the title game a few years ago and have been actually winning bowl games during their down period.

Really they have no excuse for falling as far as they have.
Miami at least can point to a decade of incompetent coaching and a 3 year NCAA investigation to point to.

Texas Alum and Boosters WILL NOT let Texas drop off too much, they got the money and resources as well as around a hotbed of talent to let it happen. Too much $$$$ invested

Our boosters/alum/admin dont care 1/10 of what UT does as far as the football program goes

Miami was a much better program than Texas. The Shorthorns have one title in the modern era of college football and only 3 since WWII began. (63, 69 & 05). The only reason they won in 2005 was because they caught lightning in a bottle with Vince Young who was subpar for 3 years then unstoppable for one.

UM was on top of college football, dominated for over a decade, and was the reigning national title holders when their slide began with the arrival of the midget communist in 2001. There's no comparison IMO. UM started way higher than Texas, hence their slide has been greater.

Say what you want about our situation, but if Texas doesn't have a player drafted after having no NCAA issues, great recruiting classes, playing in the national championship recently, and having an unrivaled amount of money pumped into the program, they should be embarrassed.

In sales its what have you done for me lately-not I was the top salesperson 10 years ago. We as miami fans need to stop living in the past, see the now and hope for future.

With the money Texas has there's no doubt they've fallen farther. Contrary to what some think Strong has only shown he can win with a great QB. He's a great defensive guy, but he was 7-6,7-6 prior to TB.

Wasn't Louisville 4-8 the year before he got there? He took over a really bad team.

Exactly... He was a first time HC who progressed each year and found the right players to build a good team... Teddy was the missing piece but the production he got from some of his prospects is nothing short of being a good HC...

I don't know, but to claim he'll win a title after failing to do so with a great QB and a pudding soft schedule is a reach IMO.
