Miami offers WR (Jordan Pouncey, now former ND Commit)

Grandpa taught me at the club when we used to go out banging chicks: a 2 at 10 is a 10 at 2. Gotta dial back those dreams when you keep whiffing like Rob Deer on a 1-2 curveball in the dirt.

. Shows great burst and speed on film.

Not seeing it. Speed is pretty decent but he's a long-strider who takes a while to get to full speed and has to slow way down to change directions. Smacks of settling one day after Pete told us the staff doesn't want to settle.

Saw him live. He is not a good WR prospect. Projects better for defense. RS and bulk......LB.

He lined up at RB after the 1st game of the season.

Pouncey, a Notre Dame commit, showed why he is one of the top-ranked college prospects in the country, rushing for three straight touchdowns of 46, 45 and 58 yards to spark Winter Park (1-1) to the surprising road rout of West Orange (1-1), which was ranked No. 5 in the Sentinel's Super 16.

Pouncey ended up with 157 yards and the three TDs on five carries.

Is he faster then most teams No 2 CB cause thats all he has to be better then. We all know AR is getting the CB1 all next season.

He just visited in October. So obviously we had some sort of contact with him.

He is a Pouncey relative

-Looks to be about 6'2 -185

-Has good speed and also wiggle

-returns kicks

- Lines up in the backfield

Honestly not sure what to like with him....if there is anything let me know?.

He would fit in with a group of Evidence Njoku, Mike Harley in my opinion. I still would take Holmes as well as a 2 year lease.

I am not knocking the Kid. I am not saying he can't play WR. Is he special? No. Does he have great upside at WR? No.

What he has is size and athleticism that would make him a better Defensive Prospect. He could grow and develop into an explosive LB.

What are the chances this "childhood Canes fan" turns around and says the offer came too late and he's sticking with his ND commitment? 90%?

Jordan did just fly back up the ND last week on his own Dime. He is pretty locked in but hoping we can get him down for an Official. Chances he sticks with ND fairly high but I'll do my best.

His future is not at WR.

I think ok. 100m times last spring averaged in the 11.2-11.6 range.

Ran a 4.6 at one of the combines

Much better then the 4.9 dingle ran. A wr needs to run somewhere between a 4.3-4.6 IMO.

I still dont see it with the kid, this looks like a settling offer since we didnt get jeudy and probably smith, im cool with getting Harley and calling it a day and go all out next class with pope and hightower
I agree with you I mean I'd rather get a grad transfer at least he will be able to contribute in 2017.

Yea there might be a few to get
