I didn't want to post this earlier, but maybe I should have. This was posted by someone from Scout who is familiar to some of us on the old Prem board. He posted this in early December.....

My cousin's son plays for BTW and is best friends with Denver. (I remember Denver consoling him last year when they lost to Bolles.) FWIW I was also told that Thomas is already a silent commit to FSU and has been for some time now. I have a lot more information that I won't share on the board about Thomas that i'm sure the coaches already know about. From what Golden has described what he wants in a player, MT may not fit that mold off the field; I will just say that. Nonetheless, that kid was easily the best player on the field all night. He play excellent in space and his closing speed reminds me of Derrick Brooks. My cousin calls him "Big 6".

As far as Denver is concerned, his family wants him out of Dade County but not too far (Tallahassee). He's a superior talent as well. I was told Barrow is trying extremely hard to change the parents minds but with little success thus far. She made it seem as if UM already know they have little to no chance to get "Big 6".

BTW I went to the state game Saturday night. i sat a few rows below MT's step father (whom my cousin pointed out) and a few feet away from an FSU scout who sat quietly there, going about his business, with both teams roster and a pair of binoculars. On occasion you would see him picking up one of the rosters and making notes next of certain players after big plays. The guy even watches the trophy ceremony with through binoculars. I wanted to ask him what could he get from scouting the trophy ceremony but didn't want to interrupt the man from his work.

My cousin also told me that #9 cb for BTW is a FSU commit for 2014 class (kid looked pretty good that night). She said #99 DE and #5 QB Harris is favoring us for 2014 (both are good prospects as juniors).

Having said all I've said above as i shared with her, no one knows what for certain what a 18 year old kid is going to do come signing day
