Well, considering that there are only 6 2023 4/5 star OL in the state of texas, the chances of signing one of those guys is very remote considering UT, ATM, OU, OSU, etc. Just being a realist.

Your post just made something click. I wonder how the NIL works for walk-ons. Because technically.. they could go waaaay over 25 using NIL money. All they would have to do is say they're adding the cost of tuition, then offer all "walk on" players at specific positions that much more in NIL money.

Actually, it would be fun if they filled out four straight classes with offensive linemen, and only then realized the problems that they then faced.

Oh no. You’re actually onto something horrible. Theoretically a Texas or Alabama could field a walk-in roster of hundreds of players, under the contingency that each walk on got a $500K per year deal. You could literally see 90% of the ESPN Top 100 sign with one school.
