Yep. The Veer and Shoot is very difficult to stop.

You have to hope for a big talent advantage in the box, that way when the read calls for run because you’ve thinned out the box to play coverage, you can still stop the run.

Last year only UGA was able to do that. This year Tenn’s OL was so bad a lot of teams had success doing it. The UF game stands out as one where Tenn playing with two backup OL couldn’t get the running going even with UF playing coverage.

Yep. Also no one was scared of Milton’s ability to throw. He couldn’t escape and couldn’t throw and OL was weakened early in the year. I expect with Nico it looks a lot different as he can throw and extend plays

Yea. And you can still have basic power run concepts built into those schemes, but nope, anything but 12 personnel is illegal.
