I'm sure DM also wants to see how the Rashada situation plays out with us. But just keep chopping wood behind the scenes. From Canesport, per Shodell
By the team he starts here, we’ll have an above average OL if not betterKid's head is saying Notre Dame. It would actually be the best choice for him. They'll have a stacked OL, it's closer to home, and he has an easier path to the starting QB job.
But that boy wants to be in the 305.
Curious what ND’s trajectory looks like with Freeman. Have seen some suspect quotes like “team morale” is better since he took over…. As we’ve learned over the years here at miami those quotes usually lead to a lot of L’s on scheduleKid's head is saying Notre Dame. It would actually be the best choice for him. They are in the same boat as us, new HC and a wait and see. Kid wants to see how both teams look this fall. Freeman is a way bigger question mark than MC turning Miami around.Curious what ND’s trajectory looks like with Freeman. Kyle Wright was not only a 5 star but also the consensus #1 QB in the nation as a HS senior. He couldn't hit the proverbial broad side of a barn. That is your conclusion from watching this highlight film, or have you seen him play and the highlights are not a good representation of his abilities? Because he looked **** good on the highlights and very accurate. I loved that even when he could have run he simply escaped and kept looking downfield And hit a guy 30 yards downfield while moving to his left.
Help me understand why you feel this way because 5 star QB’s don’t grow on trees.
Notre Dame has a better team RIGHT NOW. It remains to be seen whether Freeman can continue the level of consistency (10 wins a season) Brian Kelly established there. They're built for the next 2 seasons at least tho and Freeman might even be recruiting better than Kelly was. They are in the same boat as us, new HC and a wait and see. There are multiple layers to peel away with Kyle Wright. 1st and foremost the rankings back then were no where as sophisticated as they are now, not even close. 2nd we will never know what could have been with Kyle Wright as he never stood a chance with the cards he was dealt. While his pocket presence was a weakness, the OL did him no favors. Kid got sacked 9 times his first start and was basically running for his life the entire time. Lastly, he never had any continuity in terms of an OC and offense. His arm talent evident, but the lack of development on the staff's side to go along with meh pocket presence made him a bust.Kyle Wright was not only a 5 star but also the consensus #1 QB in the nation as a HS senior. I don‘t know about the wait and see aspect. ND already has eleven four stars and one five star committed for the 2023 class. They are in the same boat as us, new HC and a wait and see. Kid wants to see how both teams look this fall. Freeman is a way bigger question mark than MC turning Miami around.

So if he OV’s, that’s his fourth visit. Dang. That’d be a lot for an out of state kid. Fingers crossed. From Canesport, per Shodell

Kelly was a complete ******* that everyone hated. But he is one **** of a coach.Curious what ND’s trajectory looks like with Freeman. I would agree with you a few years ago but Mario is gonna make our line top 5 every yearKid's head is saying Notre Dame. It would actually be the best choice for him. They'll have a stacked OL, it's closer to home, and he has an easier path to the starting QB job.

Still a big difference between recruiting and coaching on the field though. They could very well be a 7 win team this year with their schedule.
They'll lose 1 or 2 "easy" games imo.ND most likely will only be underdogs week 1 against OSU. Clemson and USC are the only other "tough" games, and USC (despite the flashy transfer portal additions) are still 1-2 years away because they suck in the trenches.
The rest of ND's schedule is a joke. They're going 9-3 worst case scenario.
