Miami offers 2017 four-star RB Travis Etienne from Louisiana

Man the competition look really bad. Yes this kid looks really fast sbf explosive but I'm not sure but if TB and CMR believe in him I'm all in

the competition he's playing against looks terrible...absolutely dreadful.

Burns is the better prospect at first glance.

Competition doesn't determine the kids ability. Darren McFadden played third class down in Arkansas, So did Deangelo Williams and Madre Hill. I guarantee you their competition was awful.

Mark like little bigger back, like Burns, but this kid can pick them up and laid them down. We need to get back to speed everywhere. Less 4.5 and more 4.35

Does Burns even have any stats this year? This dude's like a figment of everyone's imagination.

lmao, hes saving them for the U or you can look into the archive section of his high school labeled history

Good thing is he'll have more rubber on his tires than a monster truck tire. Seems like the guy has about 8 carries on his career.

Where did the legend of Burns get its footing?

Is this Burns every gonna actually do anything? 3 carries against a rival? I know he had a ko return earlier in the year...But what gives with this kid.

Him sophomore tape was some of the best I've ever seen, has had me excited for him to get on campus since then, hopefully he gets fully healthy, if he isn't yet. If he is and is only getting 3 carries, I agree - wtf?!

I didn't mind the take back then...Agree nice tape. "some of best I've ever seen" is really pushing it though.

Keep in mind that the praise was limited to what "I've seen", and I'm far from a recruiting guru. I just thought his physical attributes really jumped off the screen at you, especially when you kept in mind he was only a sophomore at the time.

With Bruce, another position, on the can with a shattered leg AND Mac with a lower extremity issue . . . Burns with health concerns . . . yeah I like the idea of getting a kid in with elite skills who is fully healthy coming in. I actually don't like the idea of 2 stud rbs coming in with health issues. I think I am okay with a flyer on one. But lets be honest here, a 27 man class helps us a lot. They add depth and they add youth. Even still it does not fix the depth issues completely. Our OL numbers are fine, its the quality that isn't up to snuff. Player development there will go a long ways in helping us shore up other spots.
