Miami now after a 2019 3 star OG from Miami Central who committed to BC.

247 had him as a 4 star but I go off ESPN even tho it’s a joke and he was a 3 star. Not sure why he wasn’t a 4 star on there. His film was impressive and obviously had the size.

Cmon man, you generally have good takes/info, but no one uses ESPN unless they are trying to fit a narrative. Flowers was a strong 4 Star. Doesn’t make your point about some 3 stars invalid, it’s just Flowers isn’t that guy.

This is NOT a back up plan; this is scramble mode. There’s a stark difference between the two.

Back up plan is OK, if we don’t get player A or even if we get player A, we keep in contact w player B and player C, just in case.

This is, ‘wait, what? I thought u wrote down player B?’ Where tf is player B??’ Quick, quick, just give me a list of OL from the white pages and call all of them.’ Lol.

Why you say this? Kid has been talked about not his board since about January?

After he saw the game Friday and watched BC's line dominate, not sure this one is gonna work out like the coaches hoped.

B/c everything about this particular cycle seems disorganized and fall back plannish.

I may agree with that on some things...But what does it have to do with this kid in particular? We need linemen, he goes to central, so let's move on to the plan B

I remember I was beating the pot for this kid months ago. He looked better than our current commits in one on one the 2 times I seen him at UM camps. In front of Searles and company. If they are gonna zone block he would be perfect for that system. But maybe its to late for a flip..especially with BC dismantling us. This is sad lol

This is why we NEED to land Evan Neal even if he is the only guy we get between now and signing day. We have nothing but Guards it seems.

Hate to tell you but we're most likely not getting Neal. Now what is this staff going to do? We're less than 2 months from 1st signing day...

Yup, you have too many "BIG"kids in high school who just can lean into the smaller kids...

Get some traits you like to see in an OL position and make sure he has an attitude (gotta have that dog mentality in the trenches) and mold them
we used to well with DLs we switched to OL. Kids were not that big but were athletic.

"that OL just manhandled our number 1 in the country DL we should just try and flip one of their kids since they clearly are way better at evaluating than us"

The sad part about this is we are a middle of the pack coastal team.

No we play like we are middle of the pack... we always play down to our competition

We recruit like an upper echelon ACC team who should be cruising on the easiest side to the ACCCG every year instead we hve to hope the bottom feeders eat each other up so we can go

That is very true. We have had the 2nd or 3rd best recruiting class in the ACC for as long as we were in the conf. We have had the number 1 class in the coastal for just as long. However, we are still a middle of the road ACC team. We have only played in the ACCCG once and usually finish right around the middle of the coastal year after year.

a couple of SoFL 3* OL should be on the list every year, especially for interior. They redshirt and should basically be next years 4*. We need 3 freshmen, redshirt or true to get serious reps every year, and 3 sophomores redshirt or true to get reps also. The juniors and seniors are the bulk of the starters every year, they have to be seasoned and have about 3 or 4 4*s in each class.

Dream class 2019
***** Neal
**** Tarquin
**** Ike or **** Wilson or **** Fox
*** Eguakun
*** Smith or *** Washington

2019 could be 3 freshmen next year of Neal, Reed & Campbell.

2020 could be freshmen Tarquin, Wilson and a True Freshman

build depth from the bottom up, playing blue chips and redshirting quality 3*s.

a the end of the day it's been proved time and time again that 4 and 5 stars win championships (bama, Clemson, FSU etc. Last 10 years)...

but holy **** if a lineman commit from the team that's just emasculated you on national tv is in your backyard you sure as **** better recruit him
