Three straight first rounders: Teddy Bridgewater in '14, Amari Cooper in '15 and now Artie Burns in '16.

It's amazing how far they've fallen.

What's even more amazing is that Mack Alexander, Jalen Ramsey and Quincy Wilson all wanted to be Canes but didn't get offered...

I know that is true with Wilson and believe it for Mack.

But Ramsey? You know he was a Tennessee kid who never gave Miami time of day from what I remember.

I thought I remembered that we didn't offer Alexander because he needed to be a package deal with, maybe his brother? Was that the deal?

coaching...and being out recruited by Central who hasnt fell. Also BTW will be right back at it..with Ice back...

Central and MNW are fighting for those optomist kids..and Central are getting a bunch of em...look at the Cooks going there...they are Miami Carol City/ Norland kids..

They'll be back if they get a coach and stick with em and dont run em away when they cant beat a LOADED central team..

The thing that impresses me about Central is that they consistently have great OL and great defense. They are the Bama of Dade County.

I remember Mac Alexander's recruitment a little differently. Apparently we went after him hard. Supposedly we told him he was our no1 option at CB. At least this is what we were told back then.

They didnt stay too far from Carol City. Thats why there were rumors of him transferring there every year.

you just hit on something.

This is key. They consistently churn out div 1 ol...and its wierd that no one really mentions this. They are about to reach STA levels of sending big boys off to school.

DMONEY when i was in high school in early 2000s ..Central had the opposite..a string of producing college qbs...i dont know if you remember them sending a qb every year to div 1 from like 2002- till like 2008.

Their defense will ALWAYS be good. My dads friend coaches that defense...they will always have athletes on that d
