Can someone smarter than me tell me why we play so much man on early downs? I understand going man on 3rd and long and blitzing, but why do we do it on early downs?

Is it me that only thinks our defense was overrated at the beginning of the year? We can’t stop the B level teams.

Overrated by whom? I said the back 7 wasn't good and we'd have to depend on the offense to score a ton of points.

The DL is okay. I’m not going to say they are great.

Lbs mid and DBs awful.

When you watch the great defenses of college football play. They usually are shutting down the run.

When it’s 3rd and short or 4th and short they get stops. We let teams run it right down our throats. That’s how I know the DL isn’t like the other squads we’ve seen historically where you literally can’t move the DL off the ball for even a half yard

You just don’t see it work this consistently and this spectacularly against any other defenses in CFB. We have to be the worst in the country vs misdirection type plays

We have such a poorly coached defense. Guidry teaches aggression with no discipline. That equals wreckless. It's almost as if Manny's still calling plays.
