I'm told that Miami is not recruiting JC Jackson despite reports out there. Colbert signing ended that discussion and I don't think they wanted to take another kid with a history after taking Harris recently. I know Jackson is talking, but Miami is not on him. End of story

But Jackson is a premier talent at our most dire position of need, which should make it easier to overlook any potential baggage in his case than with someone who's roster filler like Harris...

Disappointing.

Looks like another case of a kid/coach tandem trying to use Miami's brand to draw interest from other programs. I see the game.

But also, I never had my hopes up because I knew he was always in TRob's back pocket to begin with.

Only way this makes sense to me (which it doesn't) would be that we are confident that we are going to bring in 4-5 top caliber CBs in '17 and JC could scare off kids.

This.

Doesn't make sense at all. Way better then Harris and Colbert, wants to be here, would be a starter at our biggest position of need. I'm baffled.
