Miami is getting no respect for this FSU game

This doesn't feel like 2005 to me. Putting aside our record, it feels like 1999. I think that's about how good this team is.

I dont see why this is so surprising. We have struggled with two mediocre teams back to back the last two weeks, while FSU has been steamrolling teams and firing on all cylinders. And the game is in Tally.

Apart from Die Hard Canes fans, going to be tough to find many people who would take us in this game. ****, even as a die hard fan, I know we are facing a major uphill battle. Nothing is impossible, but if Morris cant snap out of whatever the **** he has been in the last few weeks, its going to be ugly.
 
Respect from outsiders doesn't matter. Win all your games, and when the dust settles after conference championship weekend see where it lands you. Ohio State made a career out of barely winning games in 2002 with a **** QB.

Well considering ESPN just said if we beat FSU we would move up to 5th at best, I doubt they like us even if we win. They will find a way to downplay it and say FSU is not what they thought. Seriously, CF daily just said Stanford would stay ahead of us if we win.

WTF!!! Why is Stanford getting so much love? I think they are a solid team, but they still lost to a **** unranked team.

They are wrong. We would jump stanford whether they like it or not.

Even if Stanford jumped us it won't be for long. .. they have Oregon next I believe..


Unless stanford beats Oregon in which case it would be closer but we would eventually jump them later in the season I believe as ucla and Oregon State are exposed.

If oregon wins we win then we jump up to 4th at worst. No way Baylor stays ahead as they will probably lose to Oklahoma anyways

They make those comments because they whole heartedly believe we will get steamrolled by FSU. They don't have to be wrong about that statement b/c they give us zero chance to win.

Just win, and everything will sort itself out. We beat FSU, the rest of the schedule is downhill.

I think it's going to be very hard to keep this a close game. However, if we are able to keep it within one score come the fourth quarter I think we can pull this victory out. We know how to win late and have been in these situations 3 times this year. While FSU has not played one meaningful minute in the 4th quarter and Winston has never experienced this.
