Just finished watching:
1. Scott is the best player on the team (now). Scott seems to have found his 3 point shot (and from DEEP...NBA DEEP) and add that to his slashing and he close to unstoppable. He'll get a shot in the NBA playing this way.
2. Larkin is a close second and will be the best going forward. Good, G-d is he fast or what? Best defensive PG I've seen for Miami in a long time, maybe ever. Also, hitting 3s at 50% this year.
3. Gamble. Wow, where has this guy been the past 18 years he's been at Miami? I know he won't do this all the time, but if he can give us 8 and 6 instead of 3 and 2 with 4 fouls and 4 travels, I'd be thrilled.
4. Kadji is playing better on both ends
5. TMJ is money from the line and the dunk was sick
6. Brown seems to be playing with more confidence
7. Our white walkons needs to work on their FT shooting
Overall, we can beat Arizona with Reggie. I know we played well without him, and have played well without in the past, but we need him, if nothing else so the freshman or Swoope doesn't have to play if Kadji or Gamble need a rest or get in foul trouble. I honestly think we're a Sweet 16 team right now and should be ranked somewhere from 15-20. We're not just blowing teams out, we're blowing decent teams out. Charlotte by 31, and they were 9-0 and almost beat FSU yesterday. They'll challenge for the A-10 title and likely are an NIT team. UCF will challenge for 2nd in C-USA and is probably an NIT team, and Hawaii, while not great, will be in the upper half of the Big West (they moved there this year), and it was a road game after traveling 5,000 miles and playing at 1am. 2 of those 3 were on the road, and add that to Michigan State and UMass on the road, and we have an already impressive resume.
