We win this tournament and this time next week we are top 15 IMO. Lot of losses today. We are getting love too. Not to get ahead of ourselves, Arizona is a tough opponent. Win or lose this game does wonders for our rpi.

Dwayne Collins

No way "The Betty" for Charty's son played on the UM basketball team?

One who got fired, etc.

Yup, that's the one

Can't tell you how much money I would have bet that anything that came from Betty was not playing division 1 sports.....

Ya freshman year I got into a conversation with her when she saw me reppin my Jack Mcclinton jersey. Think he plays in Spain now

Israel I thought. Either way, he's ballin.

This team is playing great, especially in the second half of games. Arizona is a huge game and would really give this team some momentum going into acc play.

Not only did I stay up and watch the game but I made it to my deer stand on time this morning.

Superb second half. I knew we would pull away if just started hitting our 3's. We had wide open looks in the 1st half and just couldnt make them. And hats off to Julian Gamble. Guy played a phenomenal game last night against two decent bigs. However we will need Big Reg tonight.

Just finished watching:

1. Scott is the best player on the team (now). Scott seems to have found his 3 point shot (and from DEEP...NBA DEEP) and add that to his slashing and he close to unstoppable. He'll get a shot in the NBA playing this way.
2. Larkin is a close second and will be the best going forward. Good, G-d is he fast or what? Best defensive PG I've seen for Miami in a long time, maybe ever. Also, hitting 3s at 50% this year.
3. Gamble. Wow, where has this guy been the past 18 years he's been at Miami? I know he won't do this all the time, but if he can give us 8 and 6 instead of 3 and 2 with 4 fouls and 4 travels, I'd be thrilled.
4. Kadji is playing better on both ends
5. TMJ is money from the line and the dunk was sick
6. Brown seems to be playing with more confidence
7. Our white walkons needs to work on their FT shooting

Overall, we can beat Arizona with Reggie. I know we played well without him, and have played well without in the past, but we need him, if nothing else so the freshman or Swoope doesn't have to play if Kadji or Gamble need a rest or get in foul trouble. I honestly think we're a Sweet 16 team right now and should be ranked somewhere from 15-20. We're not just blowing teams out, we're blowing decent teams out. Charlotte by 31, and they were 9-0 and almost beat FSU yesterday. They'll challenge for the A-10 title and likely are an NIT team. UCF will challenge for 2nd in C-USA and is probably an NIT team, and Hawaii, while not great, will be in the upper half of the Big West (they moved there this year), and it was a road game after traveling 5,000 miles and playing at 1am. 2 of those 3 were on the road, and add that to Michigan State and UMass on the road, and we have an already impressive resume.

ps

The refs did everything in their power to make this a closer game. I mean, some dude judo-chopped Brown in the throat, and no call.

Blah.

No way could I stay up for game and go to work in the am. Will watch replay and make a few comments.
