We're still in the Coastal title hunt, believe it or not.

We just need the Virginia Tech and Duke team planes to crash into each other on the way to their next road games.

We don't deserve to be in the title game after that embarrassment last week...What's really crazy about losing that game is a suck *** VT got a clear shot at title game, in which FSU will straight murk em and we'll be left like how the heck we let VT win that game...smh
 
Not in meltdown mode like most fans but I don't see a way we can get there.

Maryland nor UVA will be able to beat VT. I think we win the next three. Should have just handled business at home when we had a chance :mad:

First VT has to lose. If VT doesn't lose it is irrelevant as we cannot get to the game. If VT goes down to Maryland or UVA. Things get crazy with the potential for a 4 way tie (should certain things happen). If VT loses to UVA it is better in case of some tie because that took place in the division.

Second, we need to beat Duke. Duke would then have 3 Ls.

Third, if we beat Duke and VT loses we have the best record and the only team capable of finishing 6-2. We would be back in control. As long as we beat Duke and VT loses 1 of 2, we are in control.

No matter what VT has to lose 1 game.

- There is another situation if we drop a game and VT drops a game but let's wait to see if that happens.
- I truly believe that VT will drop 1 of the next 2 games and Duke will not win out either.
- It would not shock me if a 5-3 team takes the coastal. Even if Duke beats us, I don't think they will go into UNC and beat them in the last game (even without Renner).

Right but if given the choice, I would rather be in this game then not be in this game. I don't care if it is at 5-3 or 4-4. I just want to have a rematch against FSU. I just want the chance.

There is no doubt that it would be better if we beat VT but we didn't and we know the issues that are going on with this team. There not going to change because we somehow "back door our way into the title game."

Seriously. When these threads start popping up it reminds to start paying attention to hockey more.
 
No way VT loses to either Maryland or Virginia. Maryland can barely field 11 guys with all their injuries. Their OL is no match.

How? A fifth, six or seventh place ACC finish gets us the Russell Bowl? I thought we go there if we are 11-1 and then lose to FSU in the ACC CG.

The bowl will take the 2nd to 7th ACC team?
