There are fundamental flaws in our defense.
We constantly have light boxes and our weakside end is alone vs the tackle and any pullers.
Motion the RB out or the slot across the formation, takes an LB out of the box, and pull a backside guard to the weakside of the defense and RB/QB goes untouched for 8 to 10 yards a piece.

I've seen this every week but im not annoyed enough until now to bring it up. Guidry defense is fundamentally flawed just like Diaz is all TFL and sacks, but has severely flawed items.

Dam I'm a dude in Canada and I could pick apart his defense every day with a mediocre offense in NCAA and do it for free to spit on his shoes and call him a bum.

How did Kiko turn into one of the worst LBs in the country. This is an absolute joke. A team who lost their RB1. Their QB1 clearly has a noddle arm right now and their QB2 has a bum ankle and they slowly marched right down the field with no resistance

I wonder if he’s hurt. It looks like he has zero bend. He look d much quicker and dynamic last year

Nuts that you guys just blame Guidry. The school and its boosters have invested tens of millions into this program. If Mario doesn’t luck out with Ward this year, he’s basically build a 5 win roster. He’s responsible for this defense. He’s been given everything he needed and asked for to recruit a top 5 roster.

Clearly this coaching staff has no answers on that side of the ball. There is ZERO reason with this bunch that we shouldn’t have at least a functional unremarkable defense. This putrid **** is not even collegiate level..

Guidry needs to stop the stunts and play fundamental containment to force plays inside. The lbs cannot fill. It’s causing them to over pursue because they know they don’t have help inside.
