Go sit down year aint over
Nah play boy bc you got your feelings because I said I seen this before in previous years. And wouldn’t you know it, we lost a game we had no business losing. Didn’t say it was over, but you must be Stevie wonder blind if you didn’t see the trajectory of this game

Anyone defending Mario here is crazy. He costs us 7 poitns. Should have kicked 2 field goals and the extra point. No reason to panic and that's just what he did. Cam was absolutely horrific today and poor decisions all day long to say the least. He has been off for the last several weeks. He has missed many receivers and he really played pooly today. We all knew this was going to happen. The recruits are watching and so is the Country. We are going to drop and if I was making the top 20 we would be at 15. Do not be surprised we do not end up in the ACC championshop game. If history is relevant this season will be a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT!
Going for 2 makes it a FG game. That is not an incorrect call. This is what I’m talking about y’all just judge based on result not actual strategy. The worst call Mario made was that timeout. Going for it on 4th, we’re tossup decisions. You’d think given we have an elite offense and GTech defense isn’t good that we wouldn’t have a complete collapse on 3rd and 4th downs, but we did

Mario Cristobal losing a winnable game as an undefeated, double-digit favorite.

A tale as old as time just ask the Oregon Ducks! Mario might be a great recruiter but he compensates for it by being a awful gameday coach
Remember, we had people celebrating when he got curb stomped by Utah, because it meant he might be coming here.

Listen, I like Mario as a recruiter, but he consistently does less with more once he gets the talent in. You can't lose games like this with so much on the line.

I think part of the reason Cam has struggled is he wants to go deep not much quick stuff anymore

Bad day for Cam to play bad. GT was the perfect (smart) team to exploit our weaknesses and mistakes. Cam took too many sacks and none of our risks (4th down) paid off. Normally we get enough possessions to make up for those mistakes but we just didn't have enough opportunities on O (defense couldn't get off the field) and GT scored TD everytime they got in the red zone. Completely different game if:
We hold them to a FG or 2 instead of TD
We convert one of those 4th downs
We stop them on one or two of those 3rd and longs
They didn’t expose anything. We left 6 points on the board. We didn’t play our best in all aspects and unlike the previous 3 plus times this has happened the offense couldn’t finish the last drive. We beat ourselves. And as a total program. Win the next two games and hopefully we can get to the ACC title game. Anyone know the tie breakers? Pitt lost clemson lost etc.

This is an interesting take.
Other than the defense, Cam is the main reason we've been in so many close games. His nonchalant play style gets us in trouble all the time. If guys weren't open you could blame coaching. Guys are wide open underneath but Cam's selfish and careless play style has him scrambling around and/or launching the ball into coverage.

That's not coaching.
I’ve said it forever he’s continuing to try and pad his Heisman stats…well he can probably forget that now…will not run for a 1st down or take a check down but will run circles behind the line waiting for something to open up.

I’m never in my feelings lol. Like I said season ain’t over. I’m not jumping off the bridge over it it is what it is

Mario is a crap game day coach. I was hoping he'd be able to beat teams like GT from this point on. Nope. He's still a bum. A panicky coach who starts going for it on 4th down when you have one of the best kickers in the country. ****, who needs an extra point in a close game? Mario and Mario alone cost the team this game with HORRIFIC knee jerk decisions when points were on the line.
You hit the nail on the nose. Mario panicked several times and a real stupid head coach!

Only way this can be a positive is now they all have urgency bc they were able to drop a game and still control their own destiny. Well now u gotta win a loss blows the whole season
Maybe we needed this to finally play with some fire and urgency under our assess.

Miami *should* be able to win these last 2 games to make it to the ACC championship game but SMU is going to be salivating against our defense.

We'll find out how much character this team really has.

Love when u hear well guirdy doesn’t trust those guys…. AND U TRUST THE GUYS THAT GET GASHED EVERY GAME
I had it with the starting LBs. Especially #1. The blueprint us out on these guys and even team is making them pay.

Thank you for your service. It's time to move onto the younger guys. At DE as well. Baron is giving us nothing. Bains gives effort, but clearly he's not the same after his injury. If you put Booker in the game, he'd run down those outside runs.

This was clearly a bad personnel fit. GT ran for nearly 300 yards. Those young players couldn't do any worse.

Our young players are so much more athletic at every position. I feel we'll have an elite defense next year or the year after.

This season has been too reliant on veterans. Let the young players eat.

One of the tiebreakers is mutual conference opponent and that helps with Clemson.

At least the heisman moment can die off now.

If I understand it correctly, we still get in to the championship game if we win our last two
