Those are secondary issues. Cam Ward's play has consistently put this team and specifically the defense in bad situations time and time again. His late game heroics not withstanding.

Ward plays hero ball on every play, regardless of situation. Its maddening. I've been casually pointing it out since the Cal game. Today it cost the Canes.

But it’s been plenty of time where we’re either late getting matched up or just leaving receivers wide tf open. Kiko is terrible in coverage yet he continues to find himself out in space 1v1. That’s a ******* coaching problem. The unnecessary stunts on critical downs and lack of pressure were killers today. Yes the defense sucks but they ain’t getting help

Lance Guidry is ***…. I refuse to believe that these players are that dumb. A WR flex outside and everybody tells the LB to follow him. That speaks on the iq of this defense. As a DB why tf would you tell your LB to go guard a WR 1 on 1, why would u leave him out to dry like that.
