Well, that was an all encompassing collapse that was going to happen at some point. Pathetic in all areas, especially coaching.

He had OJ and Harris covering that receiver. Even if he played it to his responsibilities he has to know what's going on behind him based on their alignment he needed to follow that receiver atleast more than he did before attempting to pass him off

If his coverage is the flats, that's his assignment. He can't change his assignment bc of what guys behind him may/may not be doing. He wasn't even looking that way. It's different if he was playing deep center or cover-2 as a safety and could see it all in front of him and reacted....but he's playing the slot. if the CB/S on that side was supposed to peel back bc Meesh had flats and they didn't, that's on them not him. Again, we don't know the call and couldn't see the All-22. Maybe a backer was supposed to be in zone there and wasn't. Who knows.
