My buddy said it’s bc he launched. Tv said bc he lowered the crown. I thought both were legal. He’s a runner. I think it’s bc his helmet but that was due to face mask.

Like anything else, every rule is up for interpretation by the guy making the call. That's all it ever is. If someone else hit the RB it wouldn't have been called but the biggest guy on the field hit the smallest and his head popped off and they couldn't go without charging him with a crime.

True, but the crown of the helmet doesn’t have to be head or neck. If you use the crown of the helmet for forcible contact anywhere it is targeting.

How do you adjust? Only dive at knees? There isn't a defensive coach on this planet that would say "You did anything wrong" there. He had his head up, target was center mass, and he wrapped up and finished by bringing the ball carrier to the ground.
