Miami / Florida highlights

Armbrister had himself a game.

He has a long freakish fkin frame. He looks scary and everyone questioned the pickup. AG can pick a fkin burger king employee and turn them to Ray Lewis in a week.

Not gonna lie, his player evaluation skills have shown to be pretty **** impressive thus far.

On paper, we had no business winning this game. They have a roster full of 4 and 5 stars and we have unheralded guys like Rodgers, Cornelius and Armbrister kickin' their ***.

That's coaching right there.

This right here is what we've been missing the past decade!

Even Shayon Green quietly had a nice game. He was great in run support.

I'm impressed with the production they're getting out of these players thus far. Guys like Cornelius and Armbrister especially. They're plugging guys into positions and situations where they can succeed and aren't asking them to do anything that's beyond their ability.

The 3rd down play by Cornelius is a perfect example. I believe he was playing Inside Linebacker on that play. In my opinion, he's a LB/SS hybrid type. That's a perfect place for him to be on a 3rd down passing situation and I'm not sure many of our LB's could've made that play. Good DC's put a kid like that in that position for those very instances. That's a perfect example of great personnel grouping/roster management.

You take a guy like Cornelius, who's not necessarily a "stud", and you find him a place where he can excel and help your defense.

All I wanted was a coach like Davis and wow these guys are similar when it comes to making regular guys look like all pros.

While watching that highlight, our offense looked like night and day in the first and second halves. Morris looked pretty sharp in the first half as well as the oline created some room for Duke. Second half neither of that happened. Thank you defense for being elite.

Loved seeing Tracy get his first INT in such a huge moment. Then celebrating with everybody and I think he was even pointing at the Gator's bench. Awesome.

You see that POS Gator throw an elbow at Crawford after the play? They were throwing a lot of cheap shots. Trash program with trash players.

They were getting chippy all game. They were frustrated that LiL ol Miami was beating that ***.

I'm with you here and could not be happier. This guy has endured two ACL tears; I bet plenty of players would think of hanging it up after that.

Anyone remember this article in the Herald?

He doesn't have any knees, but he's a leader, plain and simple. He's been through it all here, injuries, coaching changes, all kinds of negative publicity with the NCAA mess, you name it. A model for any of the younger guys on this team, offense or defense.

He hasn't been a superstar, but this will always be my lasting memory of Shayon's career here:

Green has improved his pass rushing too. I think he had half a sack in the first game and came very very close last game. He will get chances as the season goes along too.

Keep an eye on that play where driskell's head off almost came off (4th qt -second to last play of the game) Chickillo does a great job with his hand movement, but L Robinson bulled rush his man towards Driskell's chest,, literally,, Wow, great play. About time, we get some real penetration from our DT's dam it. He collapsed the pocket.
