FSU had the line in on Central because they had a multiple former Noles that used to coach there, Derrick Gibson (who's the HC at Killian) was the DC for Central for a number of years. Telly Lockette had a stronghold into Central for awhile as well.
But Coach Sabbath Joseph (USF alum) is the new DC at Central& he played at Central as a LB back when our TE's Coach, Coach Field was an OC at Central. The current DB Coach at Central Coach Jube (another Central alum from back in the day) was the CB coach at Carol City last year & played a huge part in Brownlee flipping to them, he also influenced Jalen Harrell to commit early to them, which is why it was a huge help for us once Jalen transferred to Champagnat.
Central isn't anti Miami though, the relationship is not bad, they just had multiple coaches who were drinking the Nole kool-aid.
We currently got Seymour who's going to be a star OL & Chamon Metayer (transferred from North Miami) whose a beast pass rusher. I hate the way they stole Lil Yul in the middle of the season & tried to sneak him on us for the MNW game, but we can still have a chance at landing Yulkeith, just have to work really hard & put together a good season next year (broken record I know lol). But Amari Daniels ain't coming, he's not real high on Miami right now, maybe that can change but he's more than likely gone.
