Coach Kool and defensive staff want Carney, but he should pull the trigger. Lovie is not a good Head coach, I watched him up close at Bucs practices and on Sundays. Guy does nothing that I can discern as coaching em up. He rode that Tony Dungy protege' thing as far as he could in pro ball. Illini just reaching for someone with a name and Lovie to top off his retirement. This won't end well for them.
 
Lovie took a Chicago squad he built to the Super Bowl. Also was a helluva a D Coordinator w The Rams. He's carved his own path. His problem is one of loyalty. He'll ride w a player probably a bit longer than he should (Grossman, Urlacher, and Cutler for example).
 
The younger Cook is better than the current brother playing in Tally. We better hope CMR and Co. can flip him.

I disagree...but regardless if that is true or not, Lorenzo Lingard is better...and when he was a 2019 recruit, Nayquan Wright was better.
Speaking of that...did Nayquan go to Paradise Camp? Anybody know if the staff is on him
 
Lingard is the best RB in the state for the 2018 class & arguably in the country.
All our efforts need to be focused on landing him & keeping him until NSD for #Storm18 .
Also, I think the staff should try to flip Camron Davis more so than Cook... Cook seems like a kid that will play games & try to play both sides because he loves the attention.
