Its a poll used by Vegas oddsmakers. I don't agree with it but explains why FSU is favored @ Clemson, UF favored @ Missouri, and why our lines have been pretty low all year.
 
Vegas is catering to all the idiots out there who forgot what a full strength Miami is. These dudes saw 2004-2012 UM and thought it would never change, so they still bet against the 'Canes. In case they forgot, a full strength Miami is something that no other college football team in the history of the game can realistically compete with. We ain't there yet, but we're getting close...this dumb *** new generation of CFB fans who think that CFB runs through the SEC is about to get a rude awakening when the tiny private school with ****** facilities starts being the **** out of their favorite teams while they sulk in their stadiums and complain about "class."
 
Vegasinsider has Miami at 7. Saw another one with Miami at 13. I guess it depends on which talking head you want to believe.

Beware of betting against the Thursday home team, especially if they're an underdog. The home team almost always covers on Thursday ESPN games. You can blind bet this as a system and make money every season. My guess is Miami by 7.
 
ok so form last times betting we turned 250 in to 495.


what do we do this week? bet it all on the line or outright but take less money if we win?
 
Not sure where you are seeing this but none of the big hotels have it at 7. Every single one is at 8 to 8.5 right now.

It's beyond comical that that Vegas website has Florida ranked 12th and Miami 28th. What idiot is getting paid monopoly money to produce that garbage?

I thought the spread would have been Miami -14 and then closing at -17 as money pours in on the Canes.
Top 10 team against a 1-4 team.
Vegas sets their lines to try to get as close to even money on both sides, but I think they fuucked up on this one.
They remember what Renner did to last year's defense in Miami, but fail to see this is a brand new team, which is why I think the line is low.

I think Miami is a lock to cover.
Then again I've seen some crazy non covers in my 48 years.
I'm not embarrassed to say I lost my *** on the 1986 Fiesta Bowl and the 2002 Ohio State game.

I just see this team as so talented and incredibly focused 48-9 Miami.

I think the spread is low b/c they are hedging on the belief that Miami is still this team that never lives up to expectations, like what weown was talking about.....

lol the gamblers on this site might as well live it up now and keep getting "rich" off Miami until Vegas puts down the pipe, hopefully they keep showing no respect for Miami for the rest of the season.
