Miami 2024 similar to 2022 Tennessee

Just wanted to point this out, the similarities between our 2022 team and your current team are very striking.

Both have/had great offense and abysmal (typically but showed flashes) defense. I think being in the ACC benefits you tremendously, and can allow the team to go on a run. The QB play was elite for both teams, and elevated everyone around. Our biggest downfall was no 12 team playoff and obviously Hooker getting hurt. You will definitely have a great shot in any game down the line and don’t think Clemson has the horses to keep up. SMU will be the biggest hurdle.


Side questions: Guidry or Donofrio, who is worse

Other side question: after our defense 2 years ago, how crazy is it that we have arguably the best defense in the country now? (Rodney garner is INSANE)

Nico listed as Questionable but top writer and insider, Austin Price, said he was full go today in practice.

As bad as Guidry has been, it’s partly a talent issue. Our back 7 is atrocious and MAC level, while the front four have not lived up to the hype. Dorito was bad with or without talent and stubborn as fk.

We also run an explosive offense which goes uptempo & leaves our D on the field for long periods. Not the best scenario for a unit lacking talent & depth.

Still, some of these game plans are inexcusable.
