Miami -11 @ Syracuse

Don't trust Mario to have this team ready...other than when he led Oregon over Ohio State he has not shown up in big games (2 losses to Utah come to mind). The offense has struggled the last 2 games against GT and Wake. Yes, we scored 42 against Wake but 7 from the defense and we only had 13 points from the offense with just over 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter before they put up 3 TDs in less than 8 minutes...that is NOT going to work against Syracuse. Time to earn that $8 million and all the resources he was given

TrumpyCane currently has a $800 pending wager on us making the playoffs that pays 1900 so not betting any games until the playoffs

Wish TrumpyCane took us to win the ACC instead looking at the rankings and that paid 4 to 1

? He beat the brakes off Utahs best team they ever had in Pac 12 title game in 2019.

He also won the Rose Bowl. He beat Southern Cal for title when game was in LA.

Was the team ready for Florida? Clemson last year? FSU in Tally?

Was he ready for Middle Tennessee state? Duke twice? Wake? Cal? GT twice? UNC twice? Virginia Tech? USF? NC State?

I mean we can play this game all day. We have no idea how this team will come out. Especially on the road. He and we lose to inferior opponents all the time, it’s not even a solely Mario thing. It’s what this program has become.

With that being said, we should win, and it would be unacceptable not to given how this season has unfolded. Control your own destiny, beat significantly inferior conference opponents. 1st year head coach. A team that has a worse defense than us, and a worse offense. Worse special teams too.

I mean we are better in all three phases, with better talent, and a better QB.

Win and get to the ACCCG.

Win.
I interpreted the post to mean "Big game".

Think back to Texas A&M(twice). We also presumed those to be big at time of play.

This Syracuse game is essentially a playoff game. I would be surprised if we werent ready to play. Now are we good enough to win on road against a prolific passing attack with all Pressure on us? Maybe, maybe not

Guess you forgot about the 2 blow out losses to Utah, the MTSU debacle, 2 embarrassing losses to GT. You're entitled to your opinion, but I haven't seen enough from him to trust him to win this game. We'll find out in 6 days and I hope we win

You sound like the writer from the PBPost. He can’t write one sentence about the Canes without referring to Mario’s $8M.

The Syracuse game has been a concern for me since I saw it on the schedule. Something about late season trips up there have always been tough. 1992 comes to mind.

We have looked sluggish, and almost bored the last couple of games. Actually, for parts of most of our games we have looked unmotivated. It's like our effort just isn't there consistently, and that will bite us again if we don't snap out of it. We need to go in there focused, and damned serious about going 1-0, as Mario keeps saying. This game is huge, and we need to play our best football for more than 10 minutes to win this one.

Tbh it’s very fitting who our next opponents could be

Cuse and SMU are both well coached offenses and teams that we have a talent edge over

If we want respect then just go win those games 🤷🏼‍♂️

I hate stating obvious **** like that but here we go again right?

We lost the FSU game in Tally and we constantly hear how Florida is cheeks. He had a Utah game with playoffs on the line and he got rolled.

We are the better team vs. Syracuse. No excuses.

CIS needs to post on their Hecht insider chat about how important the game is like we get 7 threads a week.
