I've heard they are both expected to land somewhere out west.

We are ranked 50th nationally in academics. Even UiF has moved decisively ahead of us over the last five years and are now ranked around 35. We are in the middle of the pack in the ACC, behind at least Duke, Wake, UNC, BC, and Ga Tech. Stanford, Duke, and Northwertern are the elite schools academically in major college football, but Notre Dame is pretty close to elite and they also have a lot of football tradition. We are not bad academically, but we are more of a “leader” in football than academics, even over the past ten years when we were around the 30th or 40th best football program in the country.

Of course, we blow away Alabama, FSU, and Clemson academically.

Did not realize UF jumped us academically!!!
Not shocked by the ACC though. Very strong conference.
Our private education is better than the rest of the state in my opinion though.
Miami class size verse UF... Miami wins.
Miami access to professors verse UF.... Miami wins.
Miami academic support verse UF.... equal
Miami Alum verse UF alum...equal
Those are things I think athletes look for in a school.

when recruits says education is important or they like a school academics...9 times out of 10 they are talking about the "educational support" they receive at the school. Your eally think they care or check on the rankings of these schools?. Them ninjas are talking about tutors and someone son/daughter doing their work

That may well be the case. Doesn’t mean it isn’t horse ****. Miami’s got a fleet of tutors and a host of classes that are embarrassingly easy. You play ball at Miami, you’ll get your degree unless you leave early.
